Our 'Advanced' classes will begin meeting this week per the below schedule. If you attended last weeks meeting and would like to participate, you're good to go. If you didn't catch the meeting, please read last Sunday's blog and then talk to Lindsey, Kat or John. This schedule will remain the same for the foreseeable future (or until you are otherwise notified). Tuesday and Thursday PM Group - 6:00PM to 7:30PM Thursday AM Group - 5:00AM

We’ve been teasing it for a few weeks now, I’ve even talked to a few of you one-on-one about it, but on Tuesday, January 29th, at 7:15PM we will have an informational meeting at the box to discuss the creation of our “Advanced” training group for Pearland CrossFit. This is something we are excited about adding to our regular line-up and in order to address the needs of some of our athletes who are ready to take their CrossFit to the next level. As with everything at Pearland CrossFit, our overall goal is nothing short of excellence in the product we bring to our athletes, both in means and method. As such, Advanced sessions will be programmed and coached by Carl Edwards who brings thirteen years of coaching and training experience to Pearland CrossFit for the benefit of our athletes. Carl is a true fitness professional and we are excited about the opportunity to have him join our coaching staff.

So hopefully everyone over the last week has had the opportunity to complete their CrossFit Total. These three lifts serve as an important foundation for our fitness endeavours, and increasing strength and perfecting form in these movements will certainly transfer into all other areas as you pursue your individual fitness goals.

So many things to think about when doing OH Squat, but really if you cant get it always grab a PVC work on it after or before your warm up. KEY THINGS high active shoulders, tight core, drive your knees out!!!! OK so yes I know alot more things go into it, but practice your weaknesses and eventually you will get better than you were yesterday!!
