if u Bring IT with u, leave IT on the floor!

IT might just be one of THOSE days!  I know, that you know exactly what I mean!  Most of us of the womanly gender blame it on PMS, on the phase of the moon or the argument we had with the significant other the night before.  IT Days COME and the GO.  On those days, the days when your emotions are right there on your sleeve so to speak, there is a golden opportunity to perform an exorcism through exercise.  IT is not going to be easy, those negative emotions drag you down, they tell you that you are not strong enough, you are not good enough, you just don’t have the right STUFF!

It isn’t always possibly to conquer these feelings and insecurities, but each time we tough it out and finish that outrageously tough WOD we are a little closer!

Channel all of those feelings welling up inside of you into your workout.  If you expend all of that energy on the WOD and leave it ALL there on the BOX floor you will feel 99% better!  We ALL have a day like that once in a while, it is how we decide to use those feelings that can set us up for success or failure.  We have SO many wonderful members!  I would be honored to be on a workout team with ANY of you.  If you give 100% of yourself to your workout every time then I really don’t care if you are the fastest or the strongest – I want you on my team. My goal is to surround myself with the mental winners… those of you who build me up with your work ethic, the kudos afterwards and the friendship you so willingly offer.

AND that article about David that Shawn put in the last newsletter…a good coach knows his students so beware Shawn watches and knows all better than we think! Perseverance is a trait that David has, well anyone with a PhD especially in a science, has to be tenacious.  Motivation David said that I need to talk more about motivation (he is getting pushier about telling me what to write about lately), about not relying on anyone else to motivate you.  You have to motivate yourself, find that something extra inside of you.   That internal motivation needs to come from within you and it is what will keep you coming back to the box and stay on your path to meeting your goals.

SO if today was your IT day…forget IT, remember that you left IT on the PCF floor… AND tomorrow… WELL tomorrow at PCF you will find you have that something within you to whip ITs A$$!

The WATSON’s GOT their T-Shirts in the mail today and they are AWESOME, Sign up and challenge yourself!!! WOD for Barbells for Boobs :CrossFit “Grace” WOD, 30 Clean and Jerks for time. There will be a $35 registration fee to participate in this local Amazing “Grace” event. Participants will receive a shirt, while supplies last. There will be a limited amount of event shirts that were donated by Reebok, so first come, first serve. WHY DO this?  It is a fundraising event benefit supporting Mammograms in Action.  Mammograms In Action’s mission is to provide funding for qualified women and men who need screening and/or diagnostic procedures in the prevention of breast cancer.
