What motivates you? Is it the thrill of competition? Is it because you want to be better or the best? Or is it because you want to win, or simply not lose? Is it deeper than that? Is it to be a role model for your kids? To set an example for your family? There is something that drives you. Have you recognized it? Have you considered what that motivation is? Maybe you need a new source of motivation. Is that motivation a negative or a positive? If it is negative, how can you flip the switch and find something positive to light a fire under you.

Whatever it is that motivates you… bring it with you every time you come to the box. Share that motivation with your fellow athletes. We learn from one another through our experiences, through what drives us as individuals. In sharing with one another, we gain perspective, not just related to the WOD, but in every day life.
